These are great plug-ins. While I have most of them, there are a few gems I didn’t know about. I think the best plug-in is: Akismet. It has saved me lots of headaches. Thanks.

Jeanette, a plugin is a third party application that hooks into the main application. So for example, the main application here is wordpress (as that is the site I am running the blog on) and the third application (plugin) is for example, the share this plugin that you can see just above the comments section. In a nutshell plugins give the blog more functionality and character! Hope this helps.
