Keeping up with the times…

Today I have a fantastic opportunity to go into one of the nicest buildings in Melbourne (with a mindblowing view – 121 Exhibition street ) and speak to Victorias Small Business Mentors. SBMS (Small Business Mentoring Service) assist small business owners to plan their journey forward by listening, motivating and assist business owners to plan for business growth. The reason I got invited in to speak about Social Media is because I happened to meet their presendent – Martin…. on the Energise Enterprise Victorian roadshow. We got chatting and I found out that Martin has a super strong belief that him and the mentoring group need to concentrate on not only the current issues but also the future direction needed to make the business prosper. I love such forward thinking and know that us victrians are in good hands with these find mentors by our side.
So, in  a nutshell, I went in earlier and (I trust) blew their minds to the many opportiunities they have to educate small business within this social media marketing space. We covered the basic in this session and I left fizzing.
The reason for theis post is to make people aware that this service does exsist and small business have support every step of the way. The other reason is that I wanted to share some pukka deluxe resources with you. These videos and slideshare presentations are GOLD when assist people to “get this space”.
Feel free to soak them up, ah and let me know your thoughts too!!! After all, that’s what social media is all about….INTERACTION and COMMUNICATION!
